Century Stands or more commonly known as, "C" Stands, have been the most common type of grip equipment used by the filmmaking industry for decades due to their strength and flexibility. Used on its own or in combination with a grip head and grip arm, the C-Stand is used for mounting lighting equipment and a whole variety of light shaping tools and accessories. The Kupo Master C-Stand with Sliding Base has two legs that are spring loaded to open in fixed positions, while the third leg is height adjustable by loosening a locking knob and sliding it up and down the main riser section. This enables the user to raise one leg higher than the others to level out the stand on an incline or uneven terrain. It comes in really handy on some stairs! C-Stands get their sizing from the length of their riser sections. This 40" double riser stand has two telescoping risers and one main section for a total of 120". Add the height of the base and you arrive at your maximum height All Century Stands feature a unique base specially designed with three varied leg heights. This enables the user to stack or "nest" the stand bases so that the risers are just inches apart from one another for use in close proximity mounting of lights and other grip equipment or easy storage. The Master C-Stand features a zinc alloy casting on its base that's five times stronger than aluminum to sustain the weight of heavy sandbags and people standing on it The aluminum casted locking collars are outfitted with a stainless steel heli-coil that protects the aluminum from being damaged by the knob's stainless steel bolt for strength and durability.

Wind-up stands have been the definition of strength and safety in the grip industry since their inception. They enable a single operator to raise and lower heavy loads safely with just the turn of a handle. As you crank the handle both risers move simultaneously. A single clockwise revolution of the handle raises the stand 1.73 (4.4 cm), and a single counter-clockwise revolution will lower the stand by the same amount. The KS401212 has an automatic self-locking mechanism that prevents the light stand from dropping unexpectedly making the operation safer. The risers have a series of perforations that are engaged by a safety pin. With the auto-lock engaged, the safety pin automatically locks into each successive perforation as you raise the stand. Once the auto-lock is disengaged, an internal spring retracts the safety pin allowing you to lower the stand. The crank handle folds back for travel. It also is designed as a safety measure and can be folded back and placed between two of the tripod's legs. The reason for this is to catch the handle and prevent it from turning, stopping the risers from quickly falling if the lock is unexpectedly disengaged. The tension between the brake shoe and risers is user adjustable, simply with an Allen wrench. The KS401212 also features a leveling leg that enables the user to extend one leg more than the others to level out the stand on an incline or uneven terrain. The KS401212 comes equipped with a skid-proof foot-step located on the main section of its base to allow the user to stand upon it to reach the top risers and head to make adjustments if necessary.

Used on its own or in combination with a grip head and grip arm, the C-Stand is used for mounting lighting equipment and a whole variety of light shaping tools and accessories. The Kupo Master C-Stand with Turtle Base features a unique innovation in the world of C-Stands that enables the still or moving image-maker of any skill level to open and collapse the legs of the base in under two seconds! The Master C-Stand is outfitted with a patented spring ring locking system that removes all tension from the legs so that gravity can do the work for you. A "turtle base" is an industry term where the riser section can be quickly removed from the base for easy transportation and the base can be used with a stand adapter for a low mounting position.C-Stands get their sizing from the length of their riser sections. This 40" double riser stand has two telescoping risers and one main section for a total of 120". Add the height of the base and you arrive at your maximum height All Century Stands feature a unique base specially designed with three varied leg heights. This enables the user to stack or "nest" the stand bases so that the risers are just inches apart from one another for use in close proximity mounting of lights and other grip equipment and easy storage. The Master C-Stand features a zinc alloy casting on its base that's five times stronger than aluminum to sustain the weight of heavy sandbags and people standing on it. The hollow junior pin receiver allows debris to pass through for easier cleaning and maintenance. The aluminum casted locking collars are outfitted with a stainless steel heli-coil that protects the aluminum from being damaged by the knob's stainless steel bolt for strength and durability.
