While its quite common for other brands color temperature to vary wildly when dropping from full to minimum power, the StudioMax III varies a virtually indiscernible 200K from full to 1/128 power. The two 320W/s heads and single 160W/s head are capable of fast recycling at full power as well as fast flash durations at minimum power, which is ideal for capturing every fleeting gesture with subjects in motion like athletes or dancers.
