The NT2-A carries on the tradition forged by the now legendary RØDE NT2. A professional large 1" capsule studio microphone incorporating three-position pick-up patterns, pad and high pass filter switches conveniently located on the mic body.
The frequency and transient response of this transducer has been voiced to complement today's modern recording techniques, and yet still evoke the silky smooth character of the legendary microphones of the 50s and 60s. Overview
The Saramonic TX9 is a wireless UHF bodypack transmitter and clip-on lavalier microphone bundle that provide stellar, broadcast-quality sound and are fully compatible with the dual-channel UwMic9 RX9 receiver (sold separately). The TX9 works right out of the box and is extremely easy to use. It’s ideal for DSLRs, video cameras or portable audio recorders for capturing interviews, film dialog, field recording, broadcast TV, news gathering, vlogging, YouTube videos and more. The TX9 features sturdy metal construction and delivers excellent sound quality in a low-cost package. It’s ultra-compact, lightweight, and easy to bring with you on every shoot.
The TX9 syncs with the RX9 receiver (sold separately) wirelessly through easy-to-use infrared sensors. The easy-to-read backlit LCD display lets you make quick adjustments to the intuitive menus in the brightest or darkest environments. The transmitter can be muted with the press of a button to give the person wearing it complete privacy, and the buttons can be “locked” when in use to prevent accidental muting or powering off.
This transmitter can be used with line-level audio, such as an output from a mixer. This can be useful at weddings and other events where you need to wirelessly transmit crystal-clear audio from a soundboard. The RF power output of the TX9 transmitter is also selectable. The “Low” setting lets you extend battery life in situations where the subject is close to the receiver. The first button activates the high-pass filter, which removes unwanted low-frequency sounds, like the rumble of HVAC systems, footsteps and traffic noise. The second button activates the -10dB pad, which enables you capture louder sounds without distortion. The third button is On/Off, which controls the internal AA battery. When you power SoundBird V1 with external phantom power, the On/Off button illuminates green. When powering with an internal AA battery, it illuminates blue. When the battery is low, it illuminates red. SoundBird V1 also remembers your button settings when turned off and on.

The Saramonic UwMic15 is a portable, camera-mountable wireless microphone system that utilizes the UHF (Ultra High Frequency) spectrum and provides stellar, broadcast-quality sound in a package that’s substantially more affordable than other UHF wireless systems. The exterior of the HU9 has only one button which makes operating it extremely easy. The combo mute/power button can be locked with a switch hidden inside the body to prevent the person holding the mic from accidentally muting, changing the channel or turning it off. An easy-to-read backlit LCD display clearly shows the remaining battery life, mute status, and the group and its operating channel. A protective ring around the perimeter of the grill prevents the HU9 from rolling when resting on flat surfaces.
The HU9 transmitter also features a selectable RF power output. The “Low” setting lets you extend battery life in situations where the subject is close to the receiver. Medium and High are useful when the subject is going to be further away, or when you’re using the HU9 in an environment with more potential interference. The Saramonic VWS is a professional windshield and suspension system for shotgun and pencil microphones that gives you the ability to capture clean-sounding audio in extreme weather conditions. The advanced shock mount suspension system eliminates unwanted vibration and handling noise and performs excellently when used outdoors in high winds, or when used indoors for interior boom pole work, stand usage, or when used handheld with the pistol-grip handle. This is the ideal blimp solution for the Saramonic TM1, TM7, and NV5 shotgun microphones, but it can also perfectly accommodate almost every industry standard shotgun and pencil microphone, up to 14.9” (380mm) in length with a diameter of 0.75-0.91” (19-23mm).
The overall angle of the shock mount and blimp can quickly be adjusted to optimize the position of the microphone. A short, coiled XLR cable is built into the handle and shock mount unit to make it easy to connect microphones without concerning yourself with cable routing. The internal cabling also helps to create a seamless structure to diffuse rushing wind. An acoustically transparent furry windscreen acts as the external layer of the VMS, and it can easily be removed for use in milder environments. A 3/8“ thread at the base of the handle enables you to attach the VMS to boom poles, like the Saramonic Magic Boom Pole, and the 1/4” 20 thread adapter is also included to give you near limitless mounting options.
If your productions move rapidly from interior to exterior shots, the VMS can quickly be modified for those tasks. The rear and front domes of the are easily removable, and an integrated slide rail lets you quickly take off the main blimp housing.
