Sony's 2018 model in the huge RX100 series sports an extended, 24-200mm f/2.8-4.5 zoom lens with enhanced image stabilization. Having a longer zoom reach compared to previous RX100 models makes this a great choice for overall travel photography.
A large 20MP 1" sensor and incredibly fast autofocus make for great images above and below the surface... plus stunning 4K UHD video recording all in one very compact body.
This housing is designed for a robust, professional fit and feel without the professional price tag. Controls are provided for all camera functions and depth rated to 200' (60m). A spare accessory port on the side of the housing is removable for attachment of an optional vacuum testing kit. This housing is made in the USA.
Flash
Due to the position of the camera's flash in relation to its lens, the built-in flash is not suitable to illuminate photos under water. For the best color and clarity, we recommend adding a filter, strobe, or constant-on light. The built-in flash may be used to trigger external strobes via fiber optic sync cord. Two ports are provided for the connection of up to two fiber optic cords.
Any Ikelite DS strobe may be connected using the Fiber Optic Converter # 4401.3 and Fiber Optic Cord # 4501. The AF35 strobe is not compatible with this housing.

Overview
A full featured and durable underwater housing for Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 and DSC-RX100 Mark II digital cameras. Suitable for scuba, snorkel, surf, pool, and any application in or around the water.
The Sony RX100 series cameras are great choices for underwater use because they pack advanced features and high resolution into a compact camera body. These earlier Mark I and Mark II models continue to be popular because they are commonly available at a more affordable price than the newer cameras in the series. The 28-100mm zoom range is ideally suited for underwater photography, especially when combined with the huge 20MP 1" BSI-CMOS sensor.
Ergonomics and handling
This compact and lightweight housing includes all of our latest features and improvements. The housing allows you to operate your Sony Cyber-shot camera up to depths of 200 feet (60m). It is designed and built in the USA by experienced divers with a commitment to providing top quality and value.
Large, easy-to-reach controls are provided for all camera functions. Soft-touch knobs are easy to grip with or without gloves on and provide quick access to important controls including front and rear dials and the mode control. Rear controls are marked with easy-to-see laser engraved symbols which never fade or fall off.
A trigger-type shutter lever control is designed for optimal sensitivity and a natural motion when shooting underwater. The standard control hugs the side of the housing for comfortable use when hand holding. The shutter trigger may be easily extended using the optional Shutter Trigger Extension # 4077.93 for more comfortable reach when using a handle grip.
The front-loading camera mounting system makes installation and removal a breeze. The camera mounting plate allows ready access to the battery and memory card, and features a standard 1/4-20 mounting point for attachment to a tripod topside.
Wide angle and macro close-up
Our 3" diameter ports feature a 67mm thread on the front for the easy attachment of external wide angle and macro wet lenses. Wide angle lenses make objects appear smaller, so that you can fit more into your frame underwater. Macro close-up lenses make small objects appear larger, so that tiny creatures will fill your frame.
The WD-3 Wide Angle Dome provides mid-range angle of view with no vignetting (dark shadows in the corners of the image).
The W-30 Wide Angle Lens, INON UWL-H100, and other 67mm threaded wide angle lenses, provide a wider maximum angle of view. Because these are separated from the camera's lens by glass, air, and water, some vignetting and edge distortion will be present. These effects can be reduced or eliminated by using a smaller aperture, zooming in slightly, and/or cropping in post-production.
External macro lenses with 67mm threads from INON, Epoque, and other manufacturers, can be attached directly to the front of the housing's port.
Optional 6" dry dome
The DC2 6" Dome Port # 6402 offers the best of everything: wide angle, macro, and over-under all on one dive. This special dome port replaces the housing's standard port and provides sharp 24mm wide angle and is perfect for split shots (half-in, half-out of the water). Approximately 3/4 of the camera's zoom range is usable behind the dome and macro images can be captured with the dome installed.
Accessory mounting
Two 1/4-20 threaded mounting points are included on the bottom of the housing for the attachment of a tray and handle system. Handles provide improved ergonomics underwater and are the foundation for your lighting mounts.
Light is absorbed as it travels through even short distances underwater, making colors appear dull or monochromatic. To preserve the natural colors of your subject, it's important to stay within arm's reach—no more than 3-4 feet (1m) away.
There is a simple rule that brighter is better underwater. A high-quality lighting system can produce magazine quality results with almost any compact camera system.
Color filters
Enhanced color correction and clarity can be achieved by adding a color filter or external light. The lens port of the housing accepts our 3" diameter color filters, which are available in two formulas: Tropical Blue Water # 6441.41 and Green Water # 6441.81. A color filter reduces the amount of light that reaches the camera's sensor, so they are most effective in sunny conditions up to about 45 feet (15m). The absolute maximum effectiveness is 80 feet (24m) in ideal conditions of full sun and visibility of 100+ feet (30+m).
We also offer a Yellow Barrier Filter # 6441.11 for shooting fluorescence photography. Read more about fluorescence here...
Flash and constant on lights
A flash or constant on light is necessary for close-up, night dives, and deep depths. An external light also brings out more colors in sunny conditions. External lights are typically not used in conjunction with color filters, as the combination will result in tones that are too red or too purple.
The location of the camera's flash in relation to the lens makes it unusable for lighting your subject underwater. However, the camera's flash may be used to trigger an external strobe. Two ports are provided for the connection of up to two fiber optically triggered underwater strobes.
Alternatively, a bright constant-on video light can be used. A constant-on light is not as bright as a strobe flash. Constant-on lights do provide added versatility because they can be used for focus assist and for improved colors when shooting video.
Vacuum testing
A spare 1/2-20 threaded Accessory Port on the side of the housing is the perfect location for the installation of an optional vacuum valve. The Vacuum Kit # 47012 allows you to pull a vacuum on the housing to simulate pressure at depth and check for leaks prior to entering the water.
Durability and corrosion free performance
Our ABS-PC blend provides strength and corrosion free performance year after year with minimal maintenance. The specially formulated color deflects the sun to keep your camera running cooler, longer. Compared to black or clear housings, the light gray color provides superior contrast for enhanced view of the camera, LCD screen, and o-ring seal.
The unique rear seal design prevents accidental twisting or stretching of the o-ring for simple and confident assembly. We have eliminated the need for an o-ring groove or channel which can trap sand, dirt, or debris. Two double-passivated stainless steel locking lid snaps are simple to use and virtually unbreakable. The clear back allows you to see the o-ring form a solid, watertight seal as it closes.
Ikelite products are designed, built and tested in the USA. We use locally sourced, top-grade materials. Our housings are built by hand and individually tested for fit and function. Every unit is water pressure tested to 200 feet (60m). We back our products with over 50 years of experience and the best reputation for service within the dive industry.
Compatibility
Differences in lens and control placement prevent cameras other than the Sony Cyber-shot RX100 or RX100 II from being used in this housing. Newer RX100 III, RX100 IV, and RX100 IV cameras are not compatible with this housing. We are not aware of any other camera models which may be used in or adapted to this particular housing.

Canon went back to the drawing board with the new Canon PowerShot G5 X Mark II. Looking nothing like its predecessor, this camera shares more features with its sibling the Powershot G7 X Mark III. Sadly it lacks the strobe flash hotshoe from the original G5 X camera, but it is still a great choice for underwater use. The camera features a bright 24-120mm zoom lens, a large 1"-type CMOS sensor with support of RAW image capture at up to 30 fps. It also takes great 4K UHD video or un-cropped 1080 video at up to 120p.
This housing is designed to use the full capabilities of the camera up to depths of 200 feet (60 meters). A perfectly clear back provides a view of the camera and o-ring seal. The back is removable, not hinged, for extra durability and easier camera access. It attaches quickly and easily with two heavy duty stainless steel locking latches. All important camera controls are accessed via fully serviceable controls with premium soft touch control knobs. Ikelite housings are manufactured in the USA and come with an unparalleled access to support, photo advice, and service.

Drop-in camera loading makes this housing a breeze to set up and shoot. Good ergonomics are critical when you need to concentrate on composition, focus, and proper exposure. A large, curved control lever puts the shutter control right where you need it. The shutter lever can be extended using the optional Trigger Extension # 4077.93 for perfect spacing when using a right-hand handle.
The rotating controls are all operated intuitively via premium soft-touch knobs. Stainless steel, direct-drive rotating controls are virtually fail-safe and user serviceable and adjustable in a pinch.
All rear camera buttons are accessible by smooth action, hard anodized aluminum push buttons for reliable performance and easy maintenance. These controls are clearly labeled by laser engraving on the back of the housing that never fades or falls off.
The camera's large LCD screen can be seen clearly through the back of the housing.
Flash
Due to the position of the camera's flash in relation to its lens, the built-in flash is not suitable to illuminate photos under water. For the best color and clarity, we recommend adding a filter, strobe, or constant-on light.
Two ports are provided for the connection of up to two Ikelite-, SEA&SEA-, or Olympus-type fiber optic cords. Any Ikelite DS strobe may be connected using the Fiber Optic Converter # 4401.3 and Fiber Optic Cord # 4501. The AF35 strobe is not compatible with this housing.
Tray with Handle(s)
The optional Action Tray II with Left Hand Quick Release Handle # 2605.04 and Action Tray II Extension with Right Handle # 2605.05 provide a balanced grip and are the perfect platform for adding lighting accessories.
The Action Tray mounts to the bottom of the housing with two 1/4-20 threaded screws for secure and rotation-free use. Our uniquely curved grips are rubberized for a comfortable grip and provide a quick release mechanism for adding and removing light arms.
Zoom, super macro, and semi-wide angle
The standard 3.9" diameter optical glass port accommodates the camera's full 24-120mm zoom range underwater.
Add the press-fit Macro Adapter # 9306.82 with any 67mm threaded macro wet lens for incredibly super macro photography. Compatible wet lenses include but are not limited to the INON UCL-165, Subsee Magnifier, Saga close up lenses, Nauticam CMC-1, and others.
Read more: Super Macro Underwater Photography Techniques
The optional WD-4 Wide Angle Dome # 6430.4 provides a wider angle of view underwater without the edge distortion, vignetting, or weight typically associated with an external wide angle wet lens. The WD-4 is a 0.75x magnification factor and simply slides on and off of the housing's lens port.
Read more: When to Use a Wide Angle Dome WD-3 or WD-4
3.9" diameter color filters press directly onto the front of the standard lens port. We offer color filters for Tropical Blue Water # 6441.46, Green Water # 6441.86, and a Yellow Barrier Filter # 6441.16 for fluorescence photography.
Optional 6" dry dome
The DC3 6" Dome Port # 6403 offers the best of everything: wide angle, macro, and over-under all on one dive. This special dome port replaces the housing's standard port and provides sharp 24mm wide angle and is perfect for split shots (half-in, half-out of the water). Approximately 3/4 of the camera's zoom range is usable behind the dome and macro images can be captured with the dome installed.
We recommend adding the Anti-Reflection Set of Foam # 6407 to reduce reflections when using the DC3 Dome Port.
Sealing and Vacuum Testing
There is no greater assurance than being able to see your camera and o-ring seal through the back of the housing. Our signature open-groove design suspends the rear o-ring in a natural position that is easier to maintain and more reliable than forcing the o-ring into a channel. Once the housing is closed you can see the o-ring form a solid, waterproof seal.
A spare 1/2-20 threaded accessory port is provided on the side of the housing for easily installation of the optional Vacuum Kit # 47012. A hand pump with gauge allows you to draw a vacuum on the housing to simulate water pressure and check for leaks prior to entering the water.
Every unit is water pressure tested to 200 feet (60m) before it leaves our facility in Indianapolis.
Compatibility
This housing is only compatible with the Canon PowerShot G5 X Mark II camera as shipped by the manufacturer. Other Canon cameras, including other G5 X and G7 X models, are not usable in this housing due to differences in control placement.

Ikelite SKU: 71009 | Helix SKU: 71009
A full featured and durable waterproof housing for Nikon D810 DSLR cameras. Suitable for scuba, snorkel, surf, pool, and any application in or around the water.
This housing requires the addition of a compatible DL Lens Port for waterproof operation. Lens Port not included.
Features
This popular model has been completely re-designed from the ground up to include all of our latest improvements.
Lens Ports
The single most important upgrade is our long awaited new Dry Lock (DL) port system. This exciting new system is even more robust and even easier to assembly than our time-tested Four Lock (FL) system. The new ports are lighter and more adaptable, and can accommodate extremely large diameter lenses with ease. If you're considering shooting professional quality lenses like the Nikon 14-24mm or Sigma 10-20mm HSM, then the DL system is essential.
Most popular zoom lenses and select lens focus rings can be engaged using a simple yet effective gearing system that puts adjustment right at your fingertips. A large, soft-touch lobed knob on the side of the housing makes fine tuned adjustments a breeze. Zoom and focus gears differ depending on which lens you are using. All are lightweight and affordable. Refer to the DL System Port Chart to choose the correct gear. Zoom gears sold separately.
Due to differences in mount diameter and zoom engagement, DL and FL system ports cannot be used interchangeably. The DL port mount may be removed and replaced with old style Port Locks for FL Port System (Set of 4) # 5509.04 for legacy users with standard or modular ports from our Four Lock system. This modification will prevent the use of newer DL ports. The housing cannot be converted back and forth repeatedly. Re-installation of the DL port base will require the housing to be returned to Ikelite or an Authorized Dealer and may incur additional service charges. There are significant advantages to upgrading your lens ports which you can read about here. If you're shooting an 8" diameter dome, you'll also save almost 2 pounds by using the DL version instead.
Vacuum System
The included vacuum valve allows you to vacuum test the housing to check for leaks prior to putting your expensive equipment in the water. Combined with a full view of the camera and o-ring seal through the back of the housing, there is no greater assurance that your gear will be safe. Our signature open-groove design suspends the rear o-ring in a natural position that is easier to maintain and more reliable than forcing the o-ring into a channel. Use of the vacuum valve requires a compatible Vacuum Pump with Gauge # 47011, sold separately.
TTL Exposure
This housings supports your choice of shooting all manual or adding a TTL converter depending on your application. The flash bulkhead has been moved to the top of the case for improved cord routing and reduced strain. Reliable locking connectors between the hotshoe and bulkhead make it easy to install the optional TTL hotshoe or carry back up parts when traveling to remote locations.
You can still enjoy the fastest and most accurate TTL exposure on the market by adding the NT2 Nikon TTL Hotshoe # 46064, Nikon TTL Converter with Ikelite plug # 4301.3, and a compatible Ikelite DS strobe. Exposure compensation can be used added or subtracted in the camera.
Controls and Set-Up
We've upgraded the shutter and AF-ON levers to a more natural feeling curved design. Both controls can optionally be extended using the Shutter Trigger Extension # 4077.93 for more comfortable use when using a right-hand quick release handle. If you're not already using back button focus, we recommend learning this valuable trick.
Our push buttons have been redesigned to reduce weight and salt build-up. The back of the housing features laser engraved control symbols which will never fade or fall off.
The camera mount is now front-loading for easy installation and removal. A small mounting plate attaches to the bottom of the camera and secures in the front of the housing. The camera mounting plate does not need to be removed from the camera for surface use or when changing the battery or memory cards. The mounting plate features a 1/4-20 threaded mount on the bottom so that it can be attached to a tripod on the surface.
Viewfinders
The included Supereye Viewfinder provides an enhanced view of the camera's optical viewfinder when viewed through a dive mask. The viewfinder removes quickly and easily for the attachment of an optional Straight Magnified Viewfinder # 6890 or 45° Magnified Viewfinder (Type 1) # 6891.1.
Handling & Travel
Overall the housing is over 1/2 pound lighter than its former FL counterpart (housing model # 6812.81). Our new hard anodized aluminum base with quick release handle has also been streamlined for travel and is over 3/4 pound lighter than our previous DSLR tray and handle system. The Right-Hand Quick Release Handle # 4077.02 (sold separately) can be added or removed depending on how you want to shoot. The precision machined aluminum base features 1/4-20 tripod mounting sockets and additional mounting locations for future accessories. Plus, the base and handle can be quickly removed when breaking down your system for travel.
A 1/4-20 threaded mounting point is located front and center on the housing above the lens port mount. This mount can be used to attach lightweight accessories like a focus light or GoPro camera.
If you're shooting with two strobe or lighting arms, then a top handle can be added to make the system easier to carry to and from the dive site. Top handles are available in a Cable Grip # 4080.07 or Aluminum Top Handle # 4080.08. The rigid aluminum version provides additional mounting points for lighting and accessories.
Construction
Our new white ABS-PC blend front is stronger than its clear counterpart, provides improved contrast and visibility, and keeps your camera running cooler in the sun.
Like its predecessor and all of our housings, this product is made in the USA, individually inspected for fit, and water pressure tested to 200 feet (60m).
TTL Exposure
Install optional Nikon TTL Hotshoe Product # 46064 and connect the TTL Converter Product # 4301.3 for automatic TTL exposure with compatible Ikelite DS-model Strobes. Ikelite DS-model strobes may be used with this system without the TTL Hotshoe and Converter, but will not provide TTL exposure.
Non-Ikelite Strobes
SEA&SEA, INON, and Nikonos strobes with an electrical connection can be triggered in manual exposure modes using an electrical sync cord. Strobes without an electrical sync cord connection cannot be attached to this system unless slaved off of a hard-wired strobe.
Ikelite Non-Digital Strobes
Older non-digital strobes featuring an ICS-5 electrical sync cord bulkhead can be used with this system in manual exposure modes.
Fiber Optic
Fiber optic only strobes are not compatible with this installation. An external strobe must be connected by electrical sync cord.
Remote Triggering
Strobes with remote slave capabilities may be triggered off of a flash attached to the housing by electrical sync cord. Ikelite DS strobes support remote triggering using the Optical Slave Converter Product number 4403 or the Water Wizard system (manufactured and sold by Aquatica).
Compatibility
This housing is only compatible with the Nikon D810 DSLR as shipped by the manufacturer. Unless otherwise noted, this housing does not accommodate the use of add-on grips, battery grips, eyepieces, LCD covers, or other accessories.
